What if I don’t know what I need help with?
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, struggling with relationships, or simply want support navigating life, therapy can be a helpful place to start.
Therapy can be a space to talk about anything affecting your well-being — including anxiety, stress, relationships, self-esteem, grief, life transitions, family concerns, or challenges you’re having at work or school. However, there is no right or wrong of how conversations with our therapists go. It’s meant to be a space of catharsis and comfort.
This depends on your needs and goals. Many clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions, and your therapist can work with you to determine what feels most appropriate.
That’s okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Your therapist can help you explore what you’re experiencing and identify areas where support may be helpful.
